Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera

Nobody really knows how Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera really met. What they do now is that they were both introduced by a women named Tina Modotti.

Frida Kahlo explains the real encounter with Diego Rivera. She said that as soon as she was able to go out into the streets she when to go see Diego Rivera. Because Diego Rivera was a famous Painter already she wanted advice from him about her paintings.

He told her he really liked the self portrait that she had done about her self. I really like it too because show Frida's personality real well and its really original. He new at sight that Frida Kahlo was talented that was his verdict.

Well as time pass by Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo eventually married each other in August 21, 1929. The wedding was a real catastrophe though. Most people taught that the wedding looked like an elephant and a dove were getting married because Frida was too pretty for Diego Rivera who was chunky. I also think the same thing. I don't know why Frida Kahlo married this guy in the first place I mean since the start he made her life very miserable. This reminds me of like real life stories I see with people that turn out to marry an attractive mean addict guys.
Diego Rivera got so drunk in  his wedding that he got his pistol and started shouting at the guests. He broke a guest's finger.  Which made Frida Kahlo so embarrassed that she left the party in tears and did not move in to live with Rivera till several days later.
Well, if that would to happen to me I would of divorced the guy. I mean why would he embarrassed me and himself at our own wedding for no reason.

This story as you can tell is a teenage love story. I just started reading it this Monday and I am already fascinated by it. Of course if you don't like a good love story them this story might seem kind of perky or lame to you.

Mia Foley is the name of the chick who the story talks about. She is one of the most beautiful girls in school and she hangs out with the popular girls or the hottest babes as one dude explains. She always have guys all oround her making a line to have their chance.

Will Holland is the misterious guy Mia falls inlove with. From what I have read Mia thinks he is weird and lonely without any friends. Which he is because he goes to the concelor of the school to talk about his problem with Mia a girl she cant stop thinking of, which he refers to her as a spider.

So, far this story is not only full of romance and the first crush but it has a lot of comedy lines that i am sure you will enjoy too.

Even though Frida Kahlo had a though life she did not let people see her suffer. She only expressed her felling on her paintings. She was a real rebel. Ever since I saw her painting for the first time, they transfer a bunch of emotion to me that made me really sad, angry and fristrated. Especially two that she made called the broken colunm and a few little slashes with a dagger. Her world change completely when she had a boyfriend that she loved so much. His name was Alejandro Gomez Arias the leader of the "cachucha's." The cachuchas was the named of the crew she hang out with. They always use to love putting pranks on innocent people. They both taught they were ment for each other.

In september 17, 1925 was the day frida's life changed for ever. She and her boyfriend were going on the bus but somehow she manage to get out of that bus and take a new one. There is when Frida Kahlo managed to get on the fateful bus that left her marked for ever. The bus crush into a tram. Frida who was shack for what had just happen lay on there like a broken china doll covered with blood and gold dust from another passanger.

In the hospital she was close to death and was quite in danger for sometime. When she was out of the hospital she suffer a long world of lonelinesss her friends rarely visited her and her father got so sick from the notice that he could not see her for a while. She kept writting to Alejandro who was slowly growing away from her.

Some of her laters almost made me cry because in those letters she is writting to him like if he was in the room with her. She talks about how bored she is and how bad her wounds hurt her. Alejandro's parents sent him away because the did not want Frida with him no more. On one of the last laters she sends his she explains that she really would just rather die.

This book is about the life of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. The two of them are some of  the most famous artists in Mexico and throughout the world.
Frida Kahlo she is one of my favorite artist, because she expresses her emotions through her paintings. She was a very proud, rebel, ordinary women. She was different from any other women in her times. She enjoyed to dress in men clothes and to make people pranks. I won't justify her actions but I can explain why she acted the way she did. She had a tough life, she was diagnose to have polio which id a disease and it left her right leg deformed when she was 6 six years old.







Diego Rivera on the other hand was an older men,

who was already famous when he meet Frida Kahlo.

Angels in Pink Holly's Story - Chapter 14

With all that had happen Holly had to begin her senor year of high school, again not as happy as she expected it. In fact, School for Holly became frustrated and anger less because she became like a small celebrity when she walked through the hall ways. She became known at he girl who's brother had gotten killed which it was not cool. She hated it, no so much because she hear everyone talk about her in a "whisper" kind of way, but because they kept reminding her that she did not have a brother anymore. To help herself from collapsing she made herself think that Hunter had gone to college like he was supposed to do so. This made her feel better to go on with her life. Holly had always hunt for attention but now she wanted to be left alone. Even teachers were not pushing her as hard and were laying off her. These passage reminds me of psychology class and how we believe what our mind wants us to believe, and it takes a while to leave in the reality when traumas like this occur to us. Some people even go crazy, because they enable themselves from knowing what is wrong or right. The mind occurs in a variety of funny ways and not everyone will react the same to the same type CF crisis. For example, Holly's mother she went crazy. I was wrong when I predicted that Holly will accept Chad as he is. She really did not think that CF was very attractive, in fact she found it a turned off. I think she also did not feel like dating because the death of her brother Hunter was just recently and it just did not feel right. Eventually, they had a date in the hospital helping and working withe the kids. Which in my opinion it was not even a date because they barely had time to get to know each other more, they were working the whole time. Meanwhile, Kathleen went to a party with Carson her boyfriend. She felt really guilty for going to a party when her friends had recently witness a loss. At the party she decided to forget about everything and in the intent she made a complete idiot out of her self. She got wasted up to the point where she did not remember a single thing the next night. Good thing Carson her boyfriend its a really good person and did not due anything to her neither did he let anyone due anything to her. He instead took very good care of her. I want to make a connection with a very good friend I use to have beck in the days. He's name will remained unknown but he always use to help us out and take care of us. Especially to one on my friend the mos which she caught herself in a similar situation as Kathleen.

For the next couple of chapters Holly's life has a dramatic change. Well starting since the beginning Holly dreams of having an awesome senor year, being notice and getting a boyfriend. She loves her friends Raina and Kathleen and they love her too just not as much as they love their boyfriends. For years they have been planning to go to college together and being roommates. Now, Holly is the only one who seems to want to stick together. Raina and Kathleen changed their plans and are both planning to go to college with their boyfriends. Holly being the calm girl that she is looses it, and she starts snapping at them. She is done being so nice to people and she decides to stop talking to them for two weeks. During those two weeks a lot of things happen to her. At of no where, Shyboy her secret admirer sends her an e-mail setting the time and date they are going to finally meet each other. She feels so darn happy inside because her dream finally came true, and forgets she is mad at her friends.She has the eager to call them and forgive them but she doesn't. Before the big day, that is when the is finally going to meet Shyboy at the hospital celebration where she will be receiving an award for being such a helpful volunteer, her mother finds all the messages she has been writing to him throughout out their "relationship." Her parents are very disappointed of her for talking to a complete stranger for so long. Most important they are mad because she has been keeping it a secret from them. They grounded her, she is not a allowed to network, e-mail, go out, use her phone, or anything. Her parents treat her like if she is in jail. If some one calls or nocks at the door she is not allowed to answer and if she does they would follow her and hear everything. The reaction her parent get its the kind of reaction that my parents will get if they discover me doing something wrong. I mean this reminds me of when I was a freshman in high school, and I was starting to hang out with the wrong people. This bad influence people made me sneak out of my crib at night, which I only did if once wel twice but the second time my parents caught me and they too were very dissapointment. For this I compare myself with Holly because I consider my self more like her than with herother friends. I am also shy and nice, sometimes to nice. I don't know if I have talked in details about her secret admirer. So, I am going to do so anyway. Holly has been having a secret admirer since a very long time ago and by a very long time ago I am talking about years. He has talked to her, then he has stop talking to her and so on. She got to liked him a lot through his e-mails, but she was getting tired of not actually having a real normal date with him or anyone. She hasn't even seen his face or know his name. In fact, she was clueless about who his secret admirer really was. This is the reason why she was so darn happy when she though she was actually going to meet him. Unfourtunally, her parents did not allowed to do that either. Holly decided to tell her brother Hunter to talk to ShyBoy which he did and told him everything. ShyBoy appeared in Holly's house and he talked to her parents trying to appologizes and clearing everything up. Which I though was very brave coming from him. It truns out ShyBoy real name is Chad Kyriakidis and he is a home schooled kid, not to far from there. He been watching Holly in the hospital and had liked her a lot. Chad never had the bravery to talked to her inperson because he was afraid Holly might notr like him because of his cystic fibrosis (CF) problem which was not very atractive. I will predict that Holly will not care about his problem at the end and that they are going to start dating now that things are all clear up.

 Meanwhile, she is still mad at her friends because they been planing to go to college with their boyfriends instead of going to college together she finally meets ShyBoy which it was nothing like she expected it. When two weeks pass by her friends Raina and Kathleen go visit her and make up. Hunter her brother always leaves to live on campus when school is about to start. The very last day that he is ready to leave for college he gets a call from the restaurant he works in night shift, but he goes to work in the morning this time. Everyone is expecting him to come back so his dad can take him to the airport for deportation. When they realized that he was taking long a police officer and a couple of other important gentlemen appeared at Holly's house. Holly was not expecting such harsh news I mean who would. They told Holly's parents and her that Hinter had been murder cold blooded by a robber. Holly's entire world collapse. I wanted to cry when I read this scene because if was just so emotional  and tense that I don't know how I will react if that would to happen to my brother. I think I will loose it for sure. I mean that has never happen to me but if just thinking about loosing a family member makes anyone sad, I cant imagine what people must feel when they are actually in this situation. As soon as the police officials left Holly's house she ran to go tell Raina, Hunters girlfriend that he was dead before she hear it from the news. She did loose it. Raina loved Hunter so much and they had made plans to get married on the future but now all those plans have vanished. After Hunter's death everything changed, Holly and Holly's parents, Raina, and Kathleen. Nothing would ever be the same anymore. Holly's mother changed she remain in her own world now along with everyone else. They stopped putting so much attention to life to Holly.

The book "Angels in pink Holly's Story," by Lurlene McDaniel its a very interesting and ordinary book. The book reminds me a lot about me and my friends. It's the story of three best friends, who are going to start their senior year. They have known each other for many years and made many plans together regarding to their future. They each have very different personalities, which is pretty interesting because usually best friends have several similarities and hardly any differences. The author  is only focusing on Holly, because is her story. She is a very nice, smart, and shy girl. She loves helping people out and meeting new people. So far she looks like the one that has less drama from the three of them. As I mention before she loves little kids and volunteers in the pediatrics field. She is the only one of her friends who does not have a boyfriend which she wishes she had. The book does not mention it, but I am guessing that Holly have never had a serious relationship before. She had a secret admirer once, ShyBoy. ShyBoy never really told her anything about him. He only use to talk to her by e-mail, and he never had the courage to show her his face or ask her on a date. Kind of lame right? She was eventually got frustrated about this situation, but did not stop it either. Maybe because she was afraid to scared off the only guy who has ever been interested in her and feared that there were not going to be any other. She also liked the idea of some guy liking her, that's why she kept responding his e-mails. As time pass she learn to like him through his messages and accept him just by e-mails. She of course dreamed of the day that ShyBoy will send her an e-mail setting the date and time of their actual date. She imagine him like she would imagine her dream guy to be because she did not have any pictures or him whatsoever. Before starting their senior year, the girls got together to evaluate their options and what they really want to do for their future. It seems that Holly is the only one who is thinking and making plans for the three of them. Kathleen and Raina, Holly's best friends have been planing plans on their own behind Holly's back.

The main characters of this amazing story are Holly, Raina, and Kathleen. It is a series of books about each of them from the same author. The series I have is Holly's story. Thus, Holly is the most important character in this book. She is an ordinary girl, who volunteers in the Angels program with her two best friends. It seems to me that she is the only one of her friends that does not have to much drama on her life. For example she has her license already, her parent let her drive, when ever her brother is out of town or not using the car. She has a pretty cool brother named Hunter who is in college now and wants to be a priest and serve god in the future. Everyone on the hospital seemed to loves holly, especially the little kids because she is a really energetic girl who loves to help out. She volunteers in the  pediatric field where the little kids are at. She likes colorful bright colors anything light or dark depresses her; that shows that she is full of life. Jet, she is not happy with her life which I can't understand why jet. She stresses to much about getting her first boyfriend. This is something she is kind of jealous of her friends for, because her friends have boyfriends and are deeply in love. Her Friend Raina is going out with her brother Hunter and Kathleen is in love with Carson a guy who she meet in the pink angels program. To end this blog I predict that by the end of the  book she will be have a boyfriend and it will probably be Shyboy her secret admirator which I know I did not talk much about him but its because I really don't say nothing interesting about him so far. The only think I know is that he been e-mailing Holly for a while but hes emails are not constant.
